Melisa is an associate at Davis Webb LLP and practices in the area of civil litigation. Melisa works closely with senior counsel in acting for individuals and businesses in a variety of real estate, commercial, corporate, contract, construction, employment, estate and municipal litigation matters.Melisa regularly appears before the Small Claims Court and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice as lead counsel or co-counsel on motions, applications, and trials.Melisa earned her Honours Bachelor of Arts, with a double major in Law and Society and Sociology, from York University in 2010. Melisa earned her J.D. from the University of Ottawa in 2015. While in law school, Melisa competed in the Nelligan O’Brien Payne Moot Competition and worked for Professor Adam Dodek, Vice Dean of Research, on the Social Science Research Network project.Melisa has always had a passion for litigation. Prior to joining Davis Webb LLP, Melisa practiced in both civil and criminal litigation. Melisa articled with a prominent Toronto law firm specializing in both criminal and regulatory litigation.
